HARD OF HEARING

The term ‘hard of hearing’ refers to people who have mild to severe hearing loss. Some hearing capability is still present in hard of hearing people and they usually communicate through spoken language. Hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive devices, as well as captioning, can help these people with hearing loss.
