Unilateral Hearing Loss (UHL)
When one ear’s hearing is normal, but the other ear’s hearing is reduced, this is known as unilateral hearing loss. The severity of unilateral hearing loss can range from minor to severe. Hearing loss can be unilateral from birth or occur later in life, either suddenly or gradually.
